Improvement Co. Bldg 1871
Part of the ’Historic Riverside’ collection, this pen and ink by Keith Burnham depicts the ’Riverside Improvement Co. Building circa 1871’ (now the Arcade building) which was designed by architect Frederick C. Withers and was the first commercial building erected after the commissioning the General Plan of Riverside. This building housed the offices of the original developers of Riverside as planned by Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted. Image is approximately 8x10 on an 11x14 sheet.
